International Folklore Festival "Etnovyr" annually explodes with bright colours during Ukraine Independence Day celebrations.

Colourful performances of foreign ensembles, spectacular parades of participants through the central part of Lviv, national cuisine presentations, evenings of friendship, dancing and singing workshops create special authentic and friendly atmosphere during the Festival.

The best folk groups from all over the world, including Ukraine, Mexico, Martinique, Israel, Macedonia, Portugal, France, Italy, the Basque country, the Republic of Burundi, Czech Republic, Poland, India and Spain presented their rich traditional culture through music, dance, games, rituals, customs, handicraft, and local cuisine.

International Folklore Festival "Etnovyr" is held under the auspices of the International Council of Organizations for Folklore Festivals and Folk Art (CIOFF) and International Organization of Folk Art (IOV) under UNESCO patronage. The Festival is organized by NGO “Etnovyr” in cooperation with Lviv City Council.

At the moment festival organizers are selecting the participants; we can already say that the audience will enjoy performances by folk groups from Spain, Poland, and Belarus. All other participants will be announced in the nearest future!

We invite to join the Festival and dive into the whirlpool of folk rhythms from all over the world!

"The whole world - to Lviv!"
